Michael Ruder grew up in a family with a long history of successful lawyers, including his father and grandfather. He experienced first-hand the importance of helping those in need, which is what led him to focus his practice in personal injury, where he has developed a strong passion for the law, and dedication to helping others.
Prior to joining CLG, Michael spent almost his entire career to serving injured victims in personal injury matters, including many clients in immigrant communities. Over the last 4 years, Michael would often provide pro bono legal counsel and assistance to St. Gall Parish in Chicago, Illinois. Michael received his law degree from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in 2011. During law school, he served as a Supreme Court Rule 711 extern in the felony trial division at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2008. He is currently an active member of the Illinois State Bar.
