Biography
Attorney Rosanna Cal was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. She has an Associate degree from Valencia College and a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. Attorney Cal obtained her Juris Doctor from InterAmerican University in Puerto Rico, graduating cum laude in 1999. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the law review and worked in the Legal Aid clinic. Attorney Cal is admitted to practice in Puerto Rico, admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and admitted to the United States Court of Appeals, First Circuit. Attorney Cal worked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Puerto Rico as a Paralegal Specialist for the Violent Crimes and Narcotics Divisions before transitioning to Legal Aid for the City of San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was adjunct professor at Purdue University and adjunct professor at Valencia College. Attorney Cal specializes in immigration law with extensive experience in removal, trafficking cases, U visas, immigration bonds, Violence Against Women Act, and special immigrant juveniles.
